FAQs

Questions operators actually ask.

Short answers about the Second Office model, the office, the people and the seat.

What exactly is a Second Office?
It is a dedicated team of full-time employees who work only for your company, anchored to our managed office in Buenos Aires. Think second location, not vendor.
Are these dedicated seats or shared resources?
Dedicated. One employee works for one client. No pooling, no shared queues, no rotating coverage.
Are they full-time?
Yes. Full-time employees on our payroll in Argentina, working a standard full workweek aligned to your U.S. hours.
What hours do they work?
Your hours. We align each seat to your time zone, so your team gets answers during the workday, not overnight. Argentina is already aligned with American work hours, and Buenos Aires is EST + 1.
Do they work from home?
Hybrid. Typically about once a week in our Buenos Aires office, the rest from home. The office is a real managed hub with redundant internet and power, and we manage attendance and performance either way.
Are they bilingual?
Every seat is bilingual in English and Spanish. That matters when crews, suppliers and homeowners do not share one language.
Is this a virtual assistant service?
No, we are not that. VAs are typically generalists, shared across clients and hired by the hour. Our people are dedicated, full-time employees on our payroll who own a defined function on your org chart, anchored to a real managed office. We also believe our placements are much more capable than the typical talent level a VA firm offers.
Are you a staffing agency or a marketplace?
Neither. There is no placement fee, no bench to browse and no bidding. We build and run one office of employees for you.
What does it cost?
One all-in seat: operator, desk, management and payroll. Final details depend on the seat.
What is included in a seat?
Salary and local employment costs, the desk and managed office, workstation and connectivity, HR and payroll, recruiting to the role, and on-the-ground management.
Who manages the employee?
You direct the work; we manage the person: attendance, coaching, performance, retention and local compliance.
What systems do they use?
Yours. CRM, estimating, project management, phone system, email. Software training is part of onboarding.
How long does it take to start?
Typically a few weeks from role mapping to seated, depending on the role and how specific the requirements are.
What if the person is not the right fit?
We replace the seat and manage the transition. Continuity of the function is our responsibility.
What kinds of companies do you work with?
While we specialize in American construction companies, we have successfully placed hires across many different industries, including construction, healthcare, marketing, and technology.
