Common Questions, Straight Answers
We believe in transparency. Here's everything you need to know about how OfficeTwo works — from hiring and support to compliance and day-to-day operations.
About OfficeTwo
How is OfficeTwo different from other staffing or recruiting agencies?
We don’t just find candidates. We provide physical office space, workplace culture, tech setup, onboarding support, and ongoing management—creating a real extension of your U.S. office.
How is OfficeTwo different from hiring a virtual assistant in the Philippines?
OfficeTwo helps you build a true back office team that can solve complex problems and manage high-responsibility roles—far beyond what typical remote “virtual assistants” can offer.
Can you really find talent that rivals local American hires?
Absolutely. Buenos Aires has a highly educated talent pool of over 15 million people. With your U.S. budget, you can often hire top-tier candidates in Argentina instead of settling for lower-quality applicants locally.
Why does OfficeTwo believe Argentina is a better hiring market for small businesses?
The U.S. has great talent, but most top candidates are hired by large firms at salaries small businesses can’t afford. In Argentina, where the cost of living is lower, small businesses can compete for elite talent and build strong, reliable teams.
Can team members in Argentina perform the same roles as U.S. team members?
Yes. OfficeTwo specializes in sourcing talent capable of mid- and upper-level roles like Project Managers, Sales Managers, and more—not just basic administrative tasks.
What kinds of roles can OfficeTwo help me hire for?
We specialize in a wide range of roles—from administrative support and customer service to project management, operations, sales support, finance, marketing, and more.
Hiring Process
How does the hiring process work?
We source a large candidate pool, apply multiple screening filters, and present you with 2–4 top finalists. You conduct the final interviews and make the hiring decision.
What screening methods do you use?
We combine personality testing (Culture Index), intelligence testing (UCAT), resume and experience reviews, and cultural fit interviews to ensure we find the right people for your organization.
How quickly can I expect to hire my first team member?
Typically, the hiring process takes 4–6 weeks from kickoff to your team member’s start date, depending on the complexity of the role and your interview availability.
Is there a minimum contract term with OfficeTwo?
No, there’s no minimum contract. However, we recommend planning for a long-term relationship to get the full value of building and growing your team. OfficeTwo uses a simple pricing model—a flat monthly fee that begins once you hire your first team member.
Ongoing Support and Work Model
What ongoing support does OfficeTwo provide?
We provide office space, hardware, high-speed internet, onboarding support, payroll guidance, software help, and a strong workplace culture to boost retention and performance.
What happens if a team member leaves?
If a team member leaves, OfficeTwo will help you find and onboard a replacement quickly, minimizing disruption to your business. We stay involved throughout the entire life of your team.
Can I hire just one team member or do I need to build a whole team?
You can hire a single team member or scale up as needed. Many companies start with one or two team members and grow their teams over time.
Office Environment and Logistics
Why is working in a physical office important?
In-person collaboration improves problem-solving, accelerates training, and builds a team culture—delivering results similar to having a second U.S. office.
Do team members work in the office every day?
Most companies offer a hybrid schedule, with team members splitting time between office and remote work. You set the office attendance expectations.
Are team members hired by OfficeTwo or by my company?
Team members work exclusively for your company, but they are officially engaged and managed by OfficeTwo. You decide how much to pay your team member—we’ll advise on local market rates, but the final decision is yours. You then pay OfficeTwo a single monthly invoice that includes the team member’s compensation and our flat service fee. We handle everything behind the scenes, including sourcing, payroll, compliance, and office support—so you can stay focused on growing your business.
What about time zone differences?
Buenos Aires is just 1–2 hours ahead of Eastern Time depending on the season, and only a few hours ahead of Pacific Time. This allows for full overlap with U.S. business hours, making communication and collaboration seamless.
How strong is English proficiency among candidates?
English is widely taught in Argentina, especially in Buenos Aires. We specifically screen for strong English skills during our hiring process to ensure clear communication with your U.S. team.
Does OfficeTwo provide laptops and other hardware?
All team members are required to have the equipment needed to do their job effectively. OfficeTwo ensures that every team member is fully outfitted and ready to work from day one, with reliable hardware, internet access, and a professional workspace.
Do I need to set up an entity or business presence in Argentina to hire through OfficeTwo?
No, you do not need to set up a local entity. OfficeTwo handles the complexities on the ground, allowing you to hire talent seamlessly without the need for local incorporation.
